Back to School Boutique fundraiser
Creatively Caring partnered up with Grow with Love Boutique and Nibbles Café to make a wonderful event of fun and play! 15 families and their children showed up to the Nibbles Café for a day of fun service projects and more! There was also a birthday party being held at the Café so those children were able to help with the service project too.
For the service project, the children chose any fabric dog toy of their choice and stuffed it with lots of stuffing. All the stuffed dog toys were donated to the Green Pup Shelter. Zeke, who works at Nibbles made a pull toy for the dogs. Donations were collected to benefit the shelter and a raffle was held to help raise funds. The winner was the cousin of the birthday girl!
There was also an amazing back to school sale! Gail Heraty, owner of Grow with Love Boutique showed her traveling boutique full of clothing and great accessories for the children. With this sale, Grow with Love Boutique donated 20% of sales to support family community service projects.
This joint fundraiser and community service project was a great success.
Participants were able to do some good, and have fun doing it!
